Antígona performed to positive reviews through 13 July at Barons Court Theatre in a partnership with World of English Speaking Theatre association (WEST), and in advance of the Out of the Wings festival held in London 15-19 July, 2024.
A post-performance discussion was facilitated by Rosa Andujar, one of the translation's editors with Routledge.
The Asylum Theatre and the Out of the Wings collective were honored by the Embassy of Peru in the UK with a reception hosted by Peruvian Ambassador Ignacio Higueras Hare, and a panel discussion about the work of José Watanabe and the importance of Theatre translation.
